About the Recipe

Ingredients
For the cauliflower steaks:
1 large head of cauliflower
2 tbsp olive oil
4 tbsp Acadian Coast Steak Spice
For the lemon tahini sauce:
1/4 cup tahini
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp water (more if needed for desired consistency)
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
Optional: Fresh parsley or cilantro for garnish
Preparation
Prepare the cauliflower:
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Trim the cauliflower, removing the leaves and stem, then cut it into 1-inch thick steaks.
Lay the cauliflower steaks flat on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Drizzle olive oil over the cauliflower steaks and sprinkle with Acadian Coast Steak Spice. Rub the seasoning into the cauliflower to ensure it’s evenly coated.
Roast the cauliflower:
Roast the cauliflower steaks in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping them halfway through. The cauliflower should be golden and slightly crispy around the edges.
Prepare the lemon tahini sauce:
In a small bowl, whisk together tahini, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, salt, and black pepper.
Add water little by little, whisking until you reach your desired sauce consistency (it should be smooth but pourable).
Serve:
Once the cauliflower steaks are roasted, plate them and drizzle with the lemon tahini sauce.
Garnish with fresh parsley or cilantro, if desired.
